I noticed that a lot of ppl moved to letterboxd. nah now I'm having a 'hooked on videogames' kind of phase, plus when I was watching tons of movies I felt like I wasn't focusing on them enough/watching for the sake of rating :p

Yeah. I don't like reading, but I would love to be able to read the book :P but luckily most of my favourite Italians are wordless during their films :D It is a fantastic collection of films :) and definitely the kind of artist who we should spend our money on :P

I watched the whole DVD last night for the first time, and there are some really impressive works on there. Here is the dedication on the 1st page he did for me :P http://i.imgur.com/NxOXmUl.jpg

I watched one episode of it and it wasn't bad, but I forgot to watch the rest. That was when it was on TV, but I might have to download it.

Hey chief. Have you heard about The Knick? One of my favourite new series from the past few months, by Soderbergh.

I like the fact that they have slower episodes, and then ones with quite a bit of action in it. I love the Samurai girl :D It is definitely becoming one of my favourite shows of all time, and active shows. It will be interesting to see 10 now. BTW, I think I prefer to watch when shows air because I get really excited in between episodes and you can think about the show :D for example, on True Detective, Breaking Bad, 24, Lost, Prison Break, all these shows I watched when it showed live, so had to wait. I'm off work for 2 weeks so I have had lots of free time, so spent most of the day and night watching it :D it can be fun to watch lots of episodes, and also when you've seen the show before (I watched 5-6 episodes of Breaking Bad before). I'm not really enjoying watching films these days, so trying to discover some new shows...

Getting back into Walking Dead :D and watched 10 episodes in one day the other day! Half way through Series 4, episodes 7,8,9 were great!

Well he is a producer for it, and has a few guest spots throughout the show (his character is so over the top, but hilarious), and I must admit I haven't liked his other work that I've seen, but Eastbound is one of a kind, and darker than those works. I think the main person is Danny Mcbride though, who is responsible for the show.

Nope. I've never been. I went to several places abroad when I was a child, but in the past 10-15 years I only went to Malta. Traveling is a bit of waste of money from my point of view (unless I want to attend a specific event), and I don't like feeling like an invader who goes to places and isn't able to speak the language :P I restarted watching the walking dead last night, as I saw two seasons and lost interest. It isn't that great, but I'm enjoying it a little bit. Have been rewatching Eastbound and Down; what an amazing comedy show :D

Oh and I don't know if you have Eurosport, but today the Tour of Britain will go through my town, so I'm going to go and watch at the top of Beachy Head (my favourite place to ride). Heheh, they class it as a category 2 climb, when it wouldn't even be classified on most other races :P It will be the first time I've seen cycling live.

The problem is now that postal costs are higher, it costs a fortune to ship LPs, and unless they are expensive ones, the cost outweighs what the records are worth. I have about 200 various genres of post rock, ambient, electronic, etc, and then a further 100+ of hiphop which I bought when I was young. I was also the same, I much preferred the object of vinyl, the sleeves, artwork, etc, but now I find it too inpractical :P even having to turn over and change lps interrupts the rythm :D and I wish I had bought CDs instead. I still have about 350 CDs, and ones I bought many years ago I still love =) which is different to films, where I'm selling about 3/4 of my collection because I no longer like them :P

Well, I just used Boomkat and Normanrecords, but they are UK stores. I have hundreds of records here laying around that I never use :( as I don't find it that practical format :P and much prefer CDs as I can listen on home system, convert to FLAC for media player, and then convert for my mp3 player. I wish I could sell them somewhere, but its such a hassle selling vinyl as rating the condition and postage is a real hassle.

Oh nice. I've watched it three times in total :D but I do like to watch my favourite shows again. Have done so for a few, but Breaking Bad is the best. I actually rewatched some of the True Detective episodes as the show was airing (1-3) as it was such a great show. That should be your next show to try :P I'm looking forward to rewatching the whole series again, but just waiting for the price to drop on the Blu-ray.

Oh I also tried some of Arrested Development and Weeds and didn't really like them that much. As far as comedy series and serials, Fargo was a really great serial, and a great mixture of drama, crime, and black comedy. Definitely my second favourite new show of the past year or so. Also finished watching Eastbound and Down, which is a great comedy show which I didn't think I would like. It is quite over the top and crude, but a lot of fun :D and a nice journey. I watched Walking Dead for 1.5 seasons but lost interest. I've not tried Big Love.

Well, I think I even preferred Dexter to BB during the early seasons and it took me a while to get into, and multiple viewings, but season 3 is when I started to love it, and season 4 was the peak for me :D The Gus character was brilliant, and I loved season 5, but I felt it was missing someone like that in it.

OK thanks. Well, I downloaded the album, but it seems like a good one. Well, I'm almost 28, and I doubt I will make it before 30 before I have to shave my hair all over :D I have a spikey hair style which covers it up a little, but I was probably losing it in my early twenties (someone noticed when I was like 24). Also, like you, I hate the look of baldness/shaved hair. I do worry a lot, but mine is from testosterone/genetics :D

Last comment was about Port Royal. I hope they will release something new soon, but I was glad they released that compilation album, of the older EPs and singles, as there were some nice tracks on there. I also love some of their names of tracks too "balding generation, losing hair as we lose hope" basically sums up my life right now :D

asked us why we called a song “internet love”, which originally should have been even the title of this album whose songs we are talking about. The meaning could be obvious and obscure at the same time. We are getting used to live more and more in a virtual world. The fact is that sometimes this “virtual” world is more actual than the “real” one. And internet is more and more the place of our dreams nowadays, the place where there are no limits and everything could be possible. So we liked the idea to “dedicate” a song to all those people who live more in a virtual dimension than in a real one: we all need a place of illusions where to project our dreams, without this place it would be probably impossible to stand our existence. And sometimes these hopes and illusions come also true. “Internet love” means therefore a chance, a possibility, a hope inside of despair… It is a dialectic title! The song wants to express this tension to something we still don’t have but we are longing for.

Very few films have the style of humour I appreciate, or have enough humour to keep me interested if there is nothing thematically or stylistically interesting. Four Lions is my favourite, but I also love Looking for Eric by Ken Loach, some really funny scenes in this one, and a pretty good film too, quite a fun ride :D Adam's Apples wasn't bad either. Elia Suleiman is a great example of a director with humour, whose films I admire, but I don't find all that funny. Generally I much much prefer dark comedy; but I absolutely love Curb your Enthusiam which isn't because of the great social interactions and Larry's ethics. I'm currently rewatching Louie and appreciating it second time around. I tried watching the HBO series Girls, as I heard it was slightly similar to Broad City, but god, the characters are such dreadful people, and it isn't funny. I'm also halfway through Bored to Death which is a fun show, as I like Ted Danson.
