Seize the Power is a mixtape by British indie pop rock band Yonaka released on July 15, 2021 by Creature Records. After the debut album Don't Wait Til Tomorrow (2019), with which the group triumphantly burst into the alternative scene and received very favorable reviews, the English quartet presented their new work to the public. Yonaka's music combines the heavy riffs, melodic hooks and punk furore of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Royal Blood. Fever 333 and Barns Courtney contributed to the creation of Seize the Power. The first track, titled Ordinary, was played in July 2020 on Amazon Music UK's Twitch channel, although it was removed a month after the broadcast. This melody forces you to be on the verge of anticipating something more, and it also makes you start dancing. On January 27, 2021, the group released the first official single of the same name from their album – Seize the Power, which was accompanied by a music video. This is the most exciting and varied selection of songs the band has ever produced. It reflects the full spectrum of moods, from irreconcilable rage to triumphant joy with electronic music and hip-hop. At the same time, songs like Raise Your Glass have big choruses that Yonaka is so famous for, there are lots of twists in Ordinary and Call Me A Saint, and big orchestral parts in Anthem.
