    1991 – present (32 years)

Uliczny Opryszek (Uliczny Opryszek Oj was founded in December of 1991, when drummer Bunt left the band Nauka O Gównie. The first line-up included: Bunt (bass guitar), Mazur (drums), Grzesiu (vocal) and Ralf (guitar). This line-up turned out not to be stable and few months later Ralf and Grzesiu left. Egon became the new guitarist, while Bunt got on the mic, besides playing bass. In May 1992, the band’s first tape, „Do szeregu chuju” was released by Kraków’s label Fala. In 1994, another line-up changes occured – Egon and Mazur were replaced by Małysz (guitar) and Tobiasz (bass guitar). Uliczny Opryszek performed few gigs, and one of them, in Zielona Góra, was recorded and released as a “Morderców faszystowskich – zapierdol” tape. Suddenly the band broke up, but a lot of its songs were left, never properly recorded before. And so Bunt decided to invite people from Nauka O Gównie to cooperation. Together, they recorded the first professional Uliczny Opryszek tape, „Młodzież Punkowa”. The tape became an immediate hit and few thousands of copies were sold. In 1997, the band started for real and the line-up was: Kozi (Guitar), Kaczy (bass guitar), Bunt (drums, vocal). They wanted to write new stuff and so they recorded the band’s second studio tape, „Młodzież Punkowa 2 ½ (Kto zabił prezydenta?)”. In 1998, Uliczny Opryszek was invited by T. Świtalski (Kryzys, Izrael) to perform live in the TV program „Hallo Gra!My”. The same year, the band played a very good show during the festival Zgrzyty in Białystok. But there was nothing more to come from Uliczny Opryszek at that time. The band reformed on the New Year’s Eve 1999. Primarily it was supposed to be called Budka Snajpera, but after some considerations, it came back to the old name. That was the beginning of the best period in Uliczny Opryszek history. With the line-up: Faja (bass), Długi (guitar), Bunt (drums, vocal), the group appeared on the Punk Festival in Kraków and got a great reception from the crowd. Faja was soon replaced by Michu, and Długi transferred to the bass guitar. The new line-up matched perfectly, especially when Kozi returned to the band. Uliczny Opryszek started to write new songs, which were recorded and sent to organizers of the Przystanek Woodstock festival. It was a surprise even for the band members, when they received an invitation to the festival. Meanwhile Mały became the new drummer, so Bunt reduced his role to the vocal only. The show on Przystanek Woodstock was very successful and opened the door for recording the band’s new studio stuff. In September 2004, Uliczny Opryszek entered the Alternativ studio in Szczecin in order to record the latest songs. In February 2005, the album „Młodzież Punkowa 33 1/3 (Ostateczna zniewaga)” was finally out, published by the label Pasażer. Since the show on Przystanek Woodstock, the group has played successful shows in Kraków, Łódź, Jarocin, Dobrohost -Slovakia and Pniewo (the Pniewo show was 42th one in Uliczny Opryszek career). And so the history of the band from Nowy Tomyśl still goes on…
