Things Shaped in Passing, back in the day was my go to album when I was just feeling dead inside. I would just stare at the wall listening to it. Ha.

I've only heard Things Shaped In Passing. Loved it for years. What should I listen to next?

@toast-rock I know, for some reason it always happens with post-rock and it sucks a lot

One of my little goals in life is to get really angry while listening to this band. Just to see if I can.

''Things shaped in passing'' always strikes an emotional nerv with me.. A new album would be great!

I really can't even put into words how much I like these guys. Their music satisfies my soul. Or something equally cliche.

I talked to Allen in an email a year back and he said there are no current current plans to work on anything in the future, but that doesn't necessarily rule out the option for future work to be done.

Posted back in summer 2007 on their MySpace: "I wish, hard...but 6P7 is still sleeping, hibernating a year away, trying to close some of the physical distance between band members. / In June, I moved to Seattle, WA, to work at Suicide Squeeze. And all the core players in the band are locked into something else, too: Tim Gerak is currently building a magical recording studio in his Akron, Ohio, home; Mike Tolan is studying abroad - enrolled as an NYU grad - in Barcelona, Spain; my brother, Jay, is in Cleveland, still working and ruling as a bike messenger and competitive racer. / We've all got our worlds aside from the music we make together - occasionally they demand to be explored."

They're in hiatus since 2008... My guess it's going to be like GY!BE, a looong hiatus. Apparently real life obligations have them separated.

I like these guys and all, but there are so many more engaging Post-Rock bands out there.

I had that EP. It's how I got into them too. God, that song could bring me to tears. I've been lucky enough to see them live a few times, Fantastic stuff.

I love these guys so much. I find it strange that I first heard them on a split EP with The Black Keys.

Love these guys...their music is perfect for staring at the stars...if the stars had a sound, it would sound like this.
