“Stargazing” is the first track on "Chip Chrome & the Mono-Tones (Deluxe)", the deluxe version of The Neighbourhood’s fourth studio album. Over an energetic and thumping indie instrumental, Jesse reflects on his personal life and musical career.
The music video for “Stargazing” was released on December 14th, 2020, featuring cameos from the likes of Lana Del Rey, Jaden Smith, Alexa Demie, Mac DeMarco, Blake Griffin, Benny Blanco, and Rutherford’s girlfriend Devon Lee Carlson, who portrays the character of Cherry Chrome, Chip Chrome’s girlfriend.
