i think it's a good song, but it's probably the most ill-suited beatles tune — just doesn't feel like them — and for me it weighs down any album or compilation that has it. i wish he'd saved it for a later solo album

This song is inspired and SO lovely. How did these guys write such consistently good music for a decade?!? I also just discovered Paul McCartney wrote the classic “A World Without Love” and gave it to Peter & Gordon. My god… that song is one of the most gorgeous ever!
