Possibly the greatest musical ensemble ever. Their last 2 x albums are masterpieces of unclassifiable music. They never fail to move and each time I listen I hear new layers. The vocals are another instrument in the whole piece. Timeless and exquisitely beautiful. Thankyou Mr. Hollis.

If you all like this, I guarantee you that your heads will be blown away if you listen to Scott Walker's two albums "Tilt" and "The Drift". It does things with music I could hardly conceive of. There a reason why so many lauded British art musicians (eg. Brian Eno, David Bowie, Radiohead, Bono, Goldfrapp, Dot Allison, etc etc) appeared in the documentary about the impact of his music.

@bobgreen623 Laughing Stock is the culmination of an experimental vein Talk Talk had been following (debatably) since their third album, The Colour of Spring, that album as well as The Spirit of Eden are also fantastic albums if you like Laughing Stock.

This is quite incredible. In all seriousness, I don't know much about Talk Talk beyond their hits, is this typical of their albums or were they consciously trying to alienate their fans? Wonderful piece of music
