The equivalent of headbanging to that intro is sticking your head under a moving train.

I agree with you feverswamp. There are tons of songs in Drop D and Standard that are great headbanging songs.

@PoisonOath ... please kid, don't bring that weak-ass fake metal onto this hallowed shoutbox. Those bands are good for one thing only - wiping after a massively satisfying shit.

not quite as violent as the aftermath of a night drinking whiskey, eating vindaloos and dancing like a clothesline in a hurricane, but its a close second.

Down-tuning doesn't mean heavier. The way this song is orchestrated makes it near enough the heaviest song on the fucking planet. Probably in my top 5 most headbangable.

lol, not quite the heaviest.. amazing band but yea, not the heaviest at all... i can easily suggest a few bands if your looking for heavy. The Faceless, Viraemia, Between The Buried And Me, Poison Oath, Whitechapel, Vader..... man the list goes on an on forever. btw, not ragging SYL one of fav bands

Fuck, this song defines brutal - epic confounding chaotic intense ear-rape. And that's just the first few minutes, you've not even hit the soaring melodies, the stop/CRUSH bit, the bit when it all kicks up a notch...this song is pretty much the epitome of what SYL were all about.
