Will never forget waiting outside a record shop for this for almost 2 hours on 9th Feb 1981, went home and left the arm off the player and played it continuously for hours crying profusely all through, this remarkable man has taken my favourite song of John's, re- embraced it, re-defined it and re-invented as a tribute, the only thing better than this is when the Master performs it live, John would have been so proud of this overwhelming transformation of his great creation, surely this man is The Son Of God

Fair point HPH. And yes Yellowbadger you right. My favorite covers are song written in a particular genre then covered in a totally different style.

Re: Gareth Sherry's comment - yes, you're absolutely right. And therein lies the whole point of doing a cover version of any song in the first place! Don't you just hate it when someone faithfully reproducesa track virtually note-by-note?
