Me and My Monkey is what defines Robbie the most as an artist I think: it is playful, tongue-in-cheek written song that goes into quite epic measures in mixing drama and humour, also including cultural references (Billy and the Sundance Kid and Kurt Cobain for example) and it's also very movie-like which I like. It also remember little details (like a knock on the door when Robbie has just sung about that), I always love that kind of little details, they make songs so much interesting.

I normally can't stand this guy, but I'm strangely attracted to this. Got to acknowledge a good tune when you hear one... I came onto this shoutbox expecting to see something like this. People see "pop star" and think instantly bad...
