I liked the 2011 album Glorification of a Myth. But when I heard 2015 Emanations I was astounded. It has better production, symphonic elements, and a progressive touch where you can clearly hear the groovy bass sections. Much more mature than their previous release.

Canadian Ouroboros>Australian Ouroboros. The dark ambient one from Italy might be cool too.

YouTube The Sleep of Reason (ft. The FilmHarmonic Orchestra of Prague). The new track is not bad but it's nowhere close to being on par with GOAM..it has more of a Septicflesh vibe to it though. I'm hoping that they stay true to that amazing thrashy technicality that they are known for. From hearing the new song, it does have those elements still in it but just not as prominent. It will be interesting to hear the entirety of the band's second album 'Emanations' due out in March 2015! |m|

Y'know, it seems as though the Australian Ouroboros gets more attention than the Canadian one...

"Glorification of a Myth" is simply a soup of riffs. And a fucking good soup that is.

Technical Thrash at its finest. This band is fresh and shows tremendous amount of potential overflowing with new ideas and yet deserves to be known by many more. Such a sad news to hear about the band parting ways with guitarist Barry Feeney. I wish good luck to you all. Regards from China.
