why did spotify put the live tag at the end of every single fucking song on this album? of course its fucking live, its a live album, its implied. sorry this is really fucking annoying, especially for my favourite live record of all time

i was being satirical but also being quite tired. true, its not a big deal, but its still fucking annoying as it wasnt needed at all and only made shit that little bit more worse for me and quite a few others

Amazing! Would've been even better if they opened with "Radio Friendly Unit Shifter" though

My favorite live album ever, and one of my favorite albums in general. The "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" performance is chill inducing.

I bought "unplugged" on a cassette in 2003 as a 13yo brainless kid, had no idea that "unplugged" means "acoustic". I was expecting some visceral screaming and heavy guitar smashing, but oh well. Still my favorite off their catalogue.

I think this is actually my pick for best Nirvana album. For one, Kurt's performance (not to take anything away from the other guys -- they're in fine form as well) is just spectacular and shattering. It's impossible not to view and hear this album through the filter of what happened just a few months later, so this being sort of his last will and testament as a musician lends it an incredible amount of power, but if you can divorce it from his death somehow, you'll find that it's just an incredible performance in any context. His voice is by turns powerful, vulnerable, angry, sad and chilling, his guitar playing (which by the way is an acoustic guitar run through an amplifier, so it's not really completely "unplugged," but who cares) is superb and it proves that his songs were terrific whether they featured distortion or whether they were played in an almost Folk Rock-like manner. And the choice of covers is wonderful as well; the Bowie, Vaselines and Meat Puppets songs are performed

beautifully, but it's the rendition of "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?" that really sends chills down the spine. That may be one of my top 3-5 favorite vocals in the history of Rock music, particularly the way he does the last few lines. Just indescribably haunting and breathtaking. Nevermind is the acknowledged classic and it changed Rock like no record has come close to since, In Utero is a great LP, Bleach is a lot of sloppy/sludgy fun, but this performance just resonates in a way that is very rare; belongs in the pantheon of truly great live records.

Holy hell! One of the main reasons to listen to this record is for Where Did You Sleep Last Night, and it has one of the lowest listen rates. Also, isn't Lake of Fire one of the gems of this record?

I was thinking Plateau-Oh Me-Lake of Fire are my three favorite songs on this thing (funnily all Meat Puppet songs) yet they have some of the lowest listens. Baffling

All Apologies is such an emotional performance by Kurt, always gives me chills when I listen to it.

This remains one of my favourite albums of all time. In general, i usually do not enjoy live albums at all - they are nearly always perceived by me as just an inferior version of an album. I own only this live album for that very reason.... That said, this is an unmissable release.....

I get anxiety when I play this because I discovered this album at an eerie time in my life. This album is near and dear to my heart.

Una obra maestra de lo acústico. Un disco en el que Nirvana se saltaron a la torera el concepto comercial de la MTV y se dieron el gustazo de tocar, además de varias de sus canciones, algunas versiones totalmente inesperadas y acertadísimas.
