this brings back memories of building and using launch ramps in my neighbour circa 1987-88. along with depeche mode and cabaret voltaire, new order was booming from our brixton briefcases.

If anyone knows, and would care to impart their knowledge, as to which synth or sample bank was used for that intro hook, I would very much appreciate it.

It's never enough until your heart stops beating... My first New Order song, I fell in love with it on the Pretty in Pink soundtrack (which is excellent in it's own right) at the ripe old age of four! The perfect mix of vocals, lyrics, instrumentation, and production.

I am instantly transported behind the wheel of my first car, driving around Long Island listening to WLIR with this song blasting on the radio.
