Whilst OOS XX is a remix, Abso XX is a remaster, just like the Showbiz and OOS versions from Origin of Muse were.

I ran into Matt Bellamy back in 2018 and told him to get over his ex and he crushed my toes with his shoes.

I'd say early Muse is amazing, and i don't mean Origin of Symmetry to Black Holes (which is fantastic), but really early Muse, from the Showbiz (mid 90's) era with the demos, b-sides, EP's and singles, their more intimist Alternative Rock take (kinda "The Bends" in personal impact and my personal reception) is absurdly enjoyable.

I love Muse so much, I have been listening to them for years and only realized that now. I don't feel like they get the recognition they deserve tho.

Sad to think that Muse have sucked for longer than they didn't. Thanks for the first four albums boys.

You like Muse? Their early work was a little too Radiohead for my taste. But when ORIGIN OF SYMMETRY came out in 01', I think they really came into their, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a fresh, off-the-wall sound, and a new sheen of equivocal instrumentation that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Thom Yorke, but I think Matt has a far more fantastical, vague type of lyricism. In '06, Muse released this; Black Holes and Revelations, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Supermassive Black Hole". A song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the vastness of space and the importance of vampire baseball. It's also a personal statement about the band itself. HEY, PAUL!

Matt's voice much stronger and brighter (and I think more professionally trained) than Yorke's. When I first heard Muse (Showbiz and Origin), it didn't sound like Radiohead to me. I thought, this is the new 'Queen'!
