Maître Gims is a French singer, rapper, producer and composer. He was born as Gandhi Djuna in Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of the Congo, previously Zaire) in 1986, but moved to France two years after.
He started his professional music career as part of Parisian rap ensemble Sexion d'Assaut.
Maître Gims is currently mainly performing as just Gims.
