In Katapulto's music deadpan lyrics meet quasi-danceable beats and beautiful melodies. Maximal rather then minimal. Juxtapositions of dry electronics and exotic, raw folk instruments like the whistle or Greek bouzouki mandolin set the overall tone of his music. ….
He makes surreal, experimental videos which also function as visualisations for his live shows, which are an explosion of maniacal energy, cheap keyboard riffs and deranged vocals. The result is an audio-visual spectacle of modern hysteria.
He has played at international festivals including Venn festival in Bristol, England (2008) and Um International Festival of Experimental Intermedia in Lisbon (2009)…..
