Following the release of her first studio album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, Chappell Roan joined Olivia Rodrigo on her “GUTS tour” as an opening act.
“Good Luck, Babe!” It is a single announced after their last act of said tour in April 2024 through Instagram and email. Released through Island and Amusement Records on April 5, 2024, the singer describes the song as: “about wishing good luck to someone who is denying fate… it's the first song of the next chapter.”
The single managed to debut at #77 on the Billboard Hot 100 list, being the artist's first single to do so and peaked #44.
