I'd like to know why people laugh on me when I say this is my favourite Blur song.

This song actually deserves more recognition. A very beautiful riff, it seems like the guitar cries in the very moment when you hear it. Tremendous song.

I love that this song seems to be 'positive' musically, while the lyrics is really serious and sad. Perfect, bitter-sweet song, one of my favorites. Guitars are amazing, the sound is like from heaven!

"This song just always reminds me of England, and always has. I don't know why." ME TOO! I dunno why, it just sounds so... english for some reason.

It still amazes me how such a pretty, summery song can be so dark lyrically. Also, I completely agree with Scott_25.

FishOfWar...forgive me if this comes across as being a bit stalkerish, but I think I was behind you in the queue at Piccadilly Records the other week. With your old man yeah? I overheard your Dad a few times. I'm a first gen Blur addict...in 1993 I was just like you, totally obsessed with Blur (and Graham) - only with less hair. I think it's fucking great guys like you are carrying the Blur fire. Back then I always wondered what would become of Blur. And I always fucking knew their legacy would grow and people would quickly realise what a crock of shit Oasis were and wonder why they ever even got compared. I wish I'd spoken to you in the queue now. Keep the Blur flag flying high!
