I Am... Sasha Fierce (Deluxe Version) is the deluxe edition of Beyoncé’s third studio album I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008). It features five additional songs: “Smash into You”, “That's Why You're Beautiful”, “Hello”, “Ego”, and “Scared of Lonely”. The album was released on November 12, 2008, by Columbia Records and Music World Entertainment.
Formatted as a double album, both discs represent a contrasting facet to Beyoncé’s personality and musical style. The first disc, I Am…, incorporates slow and mid-tempo R&B and pop ballads, while the second disc, Sasha Fierce, named after Beyoncé’s on-stage alter ego, contains uptempo dance songs that blend Euro and electropop genres.
I Am... Sasha Fierce was supported by nine singles: “If I Were a Boy”, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”, “Diva”, “Halo”, “Ego” featuring Kanye West, “Sweet Dreams”, “Broken-Hearted Girl”, “Video Phone” featuring Lady Gaga, and “Why Don't You Love Me”.
