I can't explain quite how this album became what it became for me, but it's a fun story nonetheless. While I was stationed out at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, We would get a group of friends and drive up to Breckenridge or Keystone to ski for the weekend. Eventually it became a required song to play anytime any 2 of our usual group would be driving. The album just made me really love skiing, and love the 2 hour drive through GORGEOUS scenery. Such a shame this is the only studio album they cut... talk about one hit wonders.... they were 1 album wonders.

I remember one time when I was young and I was at the records store with my dad and asked him to buy this album for me. I had no idea what it was and no idea what it was about, but I think the cover art was what got my attention. My dad was a bit hesitant at first, but then he was like, "OK, I'll get it for you," which made me happy. This was one of my first CDs and I dunno what I'd do if I didn't have vivid memories of the time my dad bought it for me and the times I've listened to it. Now, having listened to it at an older age, I can appreciate it more and enjoy it for what it is.
