Kill Fuck Die (also known as K.F.D.) is a unique element of W.A.S.P.'s discography due to the rough, Industrial-style production. It featured the return of guitarist Chris Holmes after a 6-year absence from W.A.S.P. He and Blackie Lawless had both recently gotten out of bad relationships, which is reflected in the lyrical themes of sex, death, and pain. The band has also stated the album was partly inspired by the movie Apocalypse Now (1979).
