I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t know this song, and for me it perfectly sums up the sound of the early nineties before the Brit Pop era began. I remember it always being played at the school discos and I have a very embarrassing photo of me on a school trip looking remarkably like the lead singer in EMF’s music video, with a backwards cap on (I could be a bit of a tom boy at times back then).
