Jana Petrů (* July 14, 1938 Prague – May 6, 1990 ) was a Czech singer . She was one of the most popular Czech singers of the early 1960s. She began her career in 1962 as a lead singer of the large PKOJF dance orchestra in Prague, under the direction of Kamil Lochman. She sang a wide repertoire from swing to rock'n'roll - she was a guest with the Czech Dance Orchestra. radio ( TOČR ), the Karel Vlach orchestra , occasionally with the Ferdinand Havlík orchestra and the Karel Duba orchestra .
