G-Eazy raps about listening to 2Pac, doing drugs, having sex with celebrities, his heritage, and much more in “Calm Down.” It serves almost as a quick interlude for the album, mostly focused in the verses. Gerald’s breakdown of “Calm Down”: "A lot of the tones on this album are really dark and moody and introspective, with a lot of minor chords. On ‘Calm Down,’ I just wanted to do something light, and talk shit and have fun. It reminds me of a tempo and a bounce that I grew up listening to. The track was produced by Young Chop, who has produced mainly for Chief Keef.
