Birthe Kjær (born Birthe Kjær Hansen 1 September 1948 in Aarhus ) is a Danish pop singer who since the late 1960s has been known as particularly Danish pop singer . Career Birthe Kjær began performing as a big girl and came in 1960 with a CCG group called 'Sunshine trio' who played all over the country and also managed to get a few optrædner on television. The group broke up, and Birthe Kjær began as an apprentice in a savings bank.
